Leonardo in high definition
High definition on the Web. Thanks to the E-gallery
The digitalization carried out by Mida and Metis on Leonardo’s sheets has enabled historians to appreciate certain details, reflections, nuances of the genius which, on the original documents, were not visible to the naked eye. Therefore it has not been a work of mere preservation with IT tools, as in previous cases, but a project that offers new research resources for experts and surprising perspectives of discovery and wonder for enthusiasts.
Wonder that can be appreciated also on the internet thanks to the E-Gallery, a solution created by Hyperborea, a company from Pisa, which is extremely easy to use and enables visitors to enjoy even the smallest details while protecting the image rights from non-authorized downloading.
Experience the wonder by exploring the pages of the Codex Atlanticus with E-Gallery by clicking
